Jessica Harris said... This experience was way more interactive then doing the usual glow worm caves. We actually got to get out in nature and experience it for ourselves. The guide takes us over the top of a flooded power station the one that used to power Waipu hundreds of kilometres away once we reached the half way mark we reached the half way mark we docked up on dry land and were given snacks and shown pictures of what the land used to look like. It was a great history lesson during the day light and a magical night as we paddled our way back through what looked like a star studded night on the cliff banks. The guide was supportive and always there and ready to help us. Before leaving for the excursion we were given spash proof pants warm clothes and shoes they literally thought of everything. But if you create a pool in your canoe you bum will still get wet so take a dry pair of pants. Best excursion yet. If I can do it with a bunch of 70 year olds you can do it as im not the fittest. We thoughly enjoyed the experience. ❤️
