    Get closer, go longer! Why travel to Milford Sound and do anything less than the best.

    Emory said... It’s always worth visiting this amazing corner of NZ if you can manage it. The drive to the Sound alone is worth the ticket price. If only they had smaller boats to take you out on the Sounds so you can get a more personal experience as the clamour to get a good seat and view on the larger boats does detract somewhat from the overall experience. That aside the guide was full of great insight and knowledge as to the geology, history and natural environment of the area. We got extremely lucky as some dolphins were milling about the Sounds on our way out - that’s a touch of magic you hope.
