jacemb said... It was a lovely day touring the wine culture in Gibbston valley. Our driver, Raman, was friendly & knowledgeable, but not pretentious -- chill guy. We learned a lot about the history of wines in the region and came away with a greater appreciation for Pinot Noir. Lunch (at Kinross) was filling & delicious; moreover, each meal was individually & excellently paired with an appropriate wine. The tasting experience at Kinross was the best of the three wineries we visited. Diego, the sommelier, did an excellent job introducing the wines, as well as the makers & history behind each one.
