Fun for all

This was cool, for the over 50 group. We had the rink pretty much to ourselves for a while, which was good Great fun, and a must do while here

Enjoyed ⛸

Ice skating was fun Recommend going early less people and I don't know how many times the get the machine on it to smooth it out We were there at 10:30 and could feel the bumps in the ice from other people *something ya can't help* Forgot how much ya ankles hurt doing it Didn't like having to share helmets *but I know that's a safety reason* It was fun loved how ya have an all day pass after 15min my ankles had to stop so could come back throughout the day *just like the hot pools*

Tekapo ice skating

Had the place to ourselves! Was great, seemed a shame to have to pay a hire fee for the penguin assistant for the little one but other than that was a fun family experience.

Snowed out

Ice skating isn't cancelled unless there is bad weather.. Not quite sure what instigates bad weather, but sleet/snow and freezing weather is not 'bad weather' . So we didn't do this and there was no option to cancel. So, I guess, just be cautious about booking this in winter. Great fun having snow ball fights in the hot pools though

Sub par lift the bar up

For a regular visitor to the most beautiful place in the world to have such a poor experience was a big disappointment to the trip The ice was 1/10 the staff in the Cafe were unwilling to engage with the customer and lacked the basic idea of good customer service no smiles and almost dismissive to the clients Tables were filthy and tables uncleared When I remarked the reasons for our disappointment they took offense and we left and didn't want to return for our booking for the pools
