The flight from Queenstown over the Southern Alps opens up endless panoramic views of a landscape forged by the greatest forces of nature, left unchanged by man.

Take it all in; rugged ridge-lines, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls cascading to lush valley floors covered with ancient forests, and divided by crystal clear streams.

On arrival in Milford Sound you will set off onboard a comfortable cruise vessel to begin an up-close exploration of the fiord from sea level.

Jagged cliffs, and hanging rainforest rises sharply up to snowy peaks hundreds of meters above you.

Expect to see seals and occasionally dolphins and penguins as you pass close to magnificent waterfalls and sheer granite cliffs, while your skipper provides you with a detailed and entertaining commentary of the region and its history.

  • Queenstown 9300. A courtesy transport from Queenstown Central Hotels can be provided if necessary. Plenty of free parking is available in front of the our building.

    3. Discount fares are transferable at True South Flights discretion. Cancellations by the operator due to weather will be fully refunded. If your travel plans change or you are unable to fly with us as planned please contact us promptly and let us know. Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to your reserved flight incur a 50% cancellation fee and in the case of a "no show" we will charge you the full cost of the flight. 환갑여행을 기념하기위해 부모님을 모시고 한 투어였습니다. 날씨도 너무 좋았고, 몇시간을 운전해서 가야하는 장소를 단 40분만에 멋진 뷰를 감상하며 가는 투어는 제 인생에서 가장 멋진 투어였습니다. 지인들에게 적극 추천할 예정입니다

놀라운 풍경, 편안한 비행

뉴질랜드 남섬 여행에서 가장 기대했던 코스입니다. 기대이상으로 멋진 뷰였습니다. 삶에서 이렇게 멋진 풍경을 볼 수 있다는 것은 큰 행운입니다. 돈이 아깝지 않았습니다. 비행기가 많이 흔들린다는 후기가 있어서 아이들은 미리 멀미약을 먹었는데, 먹을 필요가 없었습니다. 비행은 아주 편안했습니다. 우리의 파일럿 제이슨은 비행을 잘 하고 아이들에게 매우 친절했습니다.

시간 단축 + 새로운 경험을 하기에 좋은 결정!

가격 자체만 놓고보면 쉽사리 결정할 수 있는 경험은 아닙니다. 다만 밀포드사운드 크루즈 자체 금액을 고려했을 때 퀸스타운 출발 버스투어와 대략 $200 정도 차이가 납니다. 버스 투어가 아침 6~7경 시작해서 도로상황에 따라 다르더라도 여행 1일을 전부 소모하는데 반해 경비행기 투어는 반나절 코스로 시간을 절약할 수 있으니 절대 비싸기만 돈은 아닙니다. 렌트카로 하면 테아나우 포함하여 1박2일 코스로 잡거나 당일치기로 강행하는데 초행길에 쉽지 않은 여정이 될겁니다. 경비행기를 이용하면 밀포드사운드를 배제하고 테아나우를 방문하기 애매하다는 점과 밀포드 사운드까지 가는 길의 자연을 볼 수 없다는 점이 아쉽지만 쉽사리 볼 수 없는 뉴질랜드의 빙하, 산맥 절경을 가까이에서 볼 수 있고 경비행기 탑승도 재밌었습니다. 개인적으로는 퀸즈타운부터 여정을 시작하였고, 사무실이 공항근처라 렌터카 업체와도 가깝다보니 처음부터 차를 렌트하지 않고 경비행기투어 완료 후 부터 렌트를 시작하였는데 매우 효율적인 방식이었다고 생각합니다. 남섬에서의 시간이 10일 미만이라면 전 이 투어를 너무 추천합니다. 다른 이쁜 곳들도 너무 많으니깐요! (별이 4개인 이유는 사전에 셔틀버스를 신청했습니다만 등록이 되지 않아 출발 직전에 다소 신경쓸 부분이 많았기 때문입니다.)

친절합니다

뉴질랜드에서 한 여행중에서 가장 서비스 좋고 친절하였습니다. 여행 자체도 최고였지만 아이둘 데리고 가면서 걱정을 많이 했는데 잘 챙겨주셔서 힘들지 않게 다녀올 수 있었어요. 짐도 많고 정신없어서 핸드폰도 잃어버리고 그랬는데 찾아서 숙소까지 가져다주셨습니다. 밀포드 사운드도 멋지고, 생각지 않게 경비행기로 가는 과정이 정말 멋졌어요. 꼭 해보기를 추천합니다.

아버지 칠순이라 부모님 모시고 갔습니다. 버스타고 가면 왕복 10시간 걸리는 거리라고 하더군요. 그래서 비싸지만 비행기 왕복으로 정했습니다. 타보니 알겠습니다. 시간만 절약되는 것이 아니라, 고산의 절경을 바로 발밑으로 즐기는 그 느낌은 정말 최고였습니다. 돈이 아깝지 않습니다. 아버지는 최고의 경험이라며 좋아하셨습니다. 젊은 개인 여행자들은 모르겠으나, 나이가 있거나, 신혼여행정도라면, 꼭 해보시기를 추천합니다. 돈 값 이상의 경험을 제공합니다.
