Departing from Queenstown, enjoy our luxury vehicle as you hear and learn the incredible history and culture of Glenorchy through our unique onboard story-telling system operated by GPS technology.
Once we’ve arrived in Glenorchy you’ll have plenty of time to relax and take stunning photos of the beautiful top of the lake location. You’ll have time to explore Glenorchy’s short walks, café's, the local pubs and enjoy the scenery before returning to Queenstown.

Itinerary
- Pick up times: 8am and 1pm from Athol Street
- Stop for photo opportunities along the shoreline of Lake Wakatipu.
- Arrive in Glenorchy with 1.5 hours of free time to explore.
- Returning back to Queenstown at approx 12.00pm & 5:00pm.

Good value for money
Great trip as we expected - good use of the time - 15 mins in the look out and then 1.5 hours in the Glenorchy. Good audio commentary in the car. Smooth driving and friendly driver. My only suggestion 1) can the trip be postponed by 1 hour - when it is too early in the morning , the low clouds gathers so the view was not too clear in the look out 2) If only there could be extended version to go to 1 more interesting place (eg. Can return to Queenstown 1 hour later but then go to Paradise for example)

Very poor…., abandoned in Glenorchy for an hour and a half. Little to do or see. Trip needs more content.

congratulate the guide/driver who, even though there was only me on the tour, didn't cancel, he was extremely professional, a very friendly gentleman, even though he didn't have good English, he managed to understand me at all times, I hope this message reaches him
