Do I need a licence to rent an e-bike?

No, you do not need a special licence to ride an e-bike, but you may need to follow local regulations (e.g., where you can ride).

What is the weight limit for your e-bikes?

Our e-bikes support riders up to 120 kg. Please check with us for specific bike model weight limits.

Do I need to wear a helmet while riding an e-bike?

Helmets are required for safety and required by law in New Zealand. We provide helmets inclusive in your hire price with each rental.

Are the e-bikes suitable for all terrains?

Our e-bikes are designed for a variety of terrains, including paved roads, gravel paths, and light trails. If you plan on tackling rougher trails, we can recommend other stores for you.

What if I have an issue with my e-bike during my rental?

We can offer support 9-5 while open, however any late rentals with a drop off after 5pm we won'tbe able to offer any assistance if they run into any issues out on the trails.
