My 2 teenagers and I had the best time. We arrived late, were unprepared (no togs or towel), but then went on to the have the most fun. We loved everything about the trip -- Hamish made it a total blast. Super highly recommend.
Thank you for the review Jennifer, it was a fun trip for a spring time afternoon. See you next time:)
What a lovely way to enjoy our beautiful scenery. Caroline and co added to that so much. Definitely good for beginners but there's still plenty of adventure if you're a bit more daring. Enjoyed it very much and hope to get another group together for another time on a raft. Thank you!
3 Friends and I did the rafting experience and it was really fun. We did some rock jumping and it was a nice experience. The problem was that I gave hamish my phone to take pictures. He put in a dry box but somehow he fell off the boat into the water with my phone in his pocket. I've reached out to them but i have no response yet. The phone has some damage and obviously I want it to get repaired.
Had an awesome time doing the grade 2 water rafting with wellington rafting. I took my dad as a surprise for his 60th. It was fun exploring the hutt river, and navigating our own boat added to the challenge. The group we had was lovely, and the guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a perfect spring/summer activity as there are more rapids when the river is low, and rock jumping was fun without the water being too cold. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors - it's a great experience and a good entry to rafting in general. I've also done the grade 5 in Taupo - that was EPIC but maybe not everyone's cup of tea and you're in a team boat rather than your own. This would suit most people :) Next time I'd opt for the longer one - but only because it was heaps of fun and I wanted to keep going! Thanks heaps
