Waiheke is one of the world’s top wine regions with unparalleled views, mouth-watering cuisine and award-winning wines.
We're all about striking that perfect balance between chill vibes and exploring the stunning beauty and gems of Waiheke Island as we whisk you away on a journey where soil, sun, and grapevines live in perfect harmony.
You'll have plenty of time to soak in the spectacular scenic views as we make our way around the island, visiting three renowned wineries where you'll enjoy tastings (you'll get to try 10-15 wines!). You'll also savor a delicious lunch (lunch is additional cost) at a vineyard or a beach-side restaurant.
Along the way, our local guides will keep you fascinated with their encyclopaedic knowledge of the island and fascinating local stories while revealing some hidden gems around the island.
It's the ultimate day trip for any occasion! Whether it's a special celebration, hanging out with friends, or simply a day to relax and sip some wine.
Sample Itinerary
- 10am - Depart Auckland on Fullers Ferry to Waiheke Island (ferry at own cost)
- 10.35am - Arrive at Matiatia Wharf where you will be greeted by your guide
- 11.15am - Arrive at your first vineyard for the day and sample some delicious wines
- 12.15pm - Second vineyard for another memorable tasting of award-wining wines
- 12.45pm - Soak up the islands views and atmosphere over a leisurely lunch (own cost)
- 2.30pm - Content from lunch we set off to the 3rd and final vineyard for the day
- 3pm - Tasting at the 3rd vineyard
- 4pm - Depart Waiheke on Fullers Ferry to Auckland or choose to stay longer to make your way back in your own time.

wine tastings
Visited great wine farms they were smaller but much nicer. Especially the people that explained the making of the wine and you got such generous tastings

Great experience
We had a wonderful day and enjoyed our visit to Waiheke. Good size group and company. Lunch would probably be better at Casita Miró.

Overall happy with our tour
Loved Mudbrick Winery - the lady Emily was very informative and gave loads of information about the wines. Casita Miro was our overall favourite!! The food pairing with the wine was an experience that was absolutely amazing - wish we could have stayed here for lunch!! The Bach for lunch had an amazing view and the food was delicious - VERY expensive for the wine though. Our lest favourite was Postage Stamp. We were put at a table and basically left. The guy poured a very small amount of wine into the glass and left us - not much information given on the wine and no option to purchase any either. We felt like we were an inconvenience not a customer!! Our driver Lydia was very informative and went above and beyond when I left my bag behind - went back and retrieved it for me. Overall a lovely day out!!

First time to Waiheke Island, guide was very welcoming and knowledgable, im not a wine drinker but the experience was outstanding, will take the tour again next time i come over
