lizbflo said... We went on the 2-hour sail aboard one of the America’s Cup New Zealand boats. It was fantastic! Even though the wind was relatively light, we had both the main and jib up for all of the sail and put the spinnaker up for about 15 minutes when it was needed. The skipper and crew were informative, friendly and eager to teach. Some of the participants were sailors themselves. They were able to drive (a couple non-sailors also took a turn). Weather cooperated as it was about 75 F and sunny. I’d recommend this to sailors and newbies. A not-to-miss activity while in Auckland.
