Your magical journey begins on foot where you will discover beautiful clear streams, lush native bush and outstanding views over Anchorage and the Astrolabe Islands as you make your way unguided to Observation Beach. Maps and tips are provided for the beautiful 2hr walk.

At Observation Beach you will meet your guide and enjoy a delicious complimentary lunch before your guided kayaking adventure to Marahau begins. Marvel at the resident fur seals at the Adele Island Bird Sanctuary and listen to the calming sounds of New Zealand's native birds. As you kayak south soak up the views of the Abel Tasman's stunning golden beaches, protected islands and sheltered caves.

If the weather permits we will even hoist a spinnaker and sail back to Marahau on the crisp sea breeze. Our kayak and walk package is a fantastic combination that will allow you to get the most out of your trip to this magical part of New Zealand.

Restrictions

  • Minimum 12 years, if under 16 you will need to be accompanied by an adult on a 1 to 1 ratio.

Notes

  • Please Note: You will start the day with either the walk or the kayak, depending upon the conditions on the day. If the day starts with the walk it will end with the kayak and visa versa.

    Please advise upon checkout if you have any dietary requirements.

    Duration: 8.45am to 4.30pm (Check in at 8.15am)

Kajak and Walk

Ein Highlight-Tag unserer Neuseelandreise! Wir hatten strahlenden Sonnenschein und ruhige See. Nach einer Einweisung ging es mit dem Bus zum Einstiegsort. Das Paddeln hat total viel Spaß gemacht und die Aussicht war toll! Wir haben sogar kleine Robben gesehen! Anschließend gab es ein süßes Picknick am Strand. Das Essen war wirklich super. Sandwiches, Brownies (die besten meines Lebens!), Energyballs, Säfte, Wasser, frisches Obst.. Richtig lecker! Nach dem Essen begann der ungeführte Teil. Wir haben noch etwas Zeit an dem kleinen Strand verbracht und sind dann den Rückweg angetreten. Es ist ein super schöner Spaziergang mit tollen Ausblicken auf das Meer. Immer wieder gibt es die Möglichkeit zu Badestränden runterzulaufen und zu relaxen. Ein rundum gelungener Tag, den wir jedem weiterempfehlen würden!

War super!!

Wir hatten zuerst das Kajak fahren, waren in einer kleinen Gruppe unterwegs von acht Leuten, das Mittagessen anschließend war super und auch der Walk zurück war sehr schön.

Schöne Tour

Wegen des Wetters sind wir zuerst Kajak gefahren und dann von unserem Picknik Spot zurückgelaufen. Auf dem Weg haben wir ganz viele Seehunde auf Adele Island gesehen und durch die Rücktour zu Fuß hatte man noch einen ganz anderen Blickwinkel auf die wunderschönen Strände und Buchten. Wir hatten sogar noch Zeit um schwimmen zu gehen. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Tag!

Es war alles super organisiert und der Guide passt sich dem Fitnesslavel der Gäste an :). In einer kleinen Gruppe von 4 Kajaks hatten wir viel Spaß und sahen u.a. süße Babyrobben in natürlicher Umgebung. Am Ziel, einem schönen Sandstrand, gab es ein wunderbares Picknick, bevor wir mit einem kleinen Boot zurückgebracht wurden. Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Vielen Dank - Awesome :)

Nicht nur durch das tolle Wetter ein Erlebnis

Was für ein schöner tag: erst Kayak dann wandern bei Sonnenschein und leichtem Wind - was für eine tolle Kombination!!! Dazu super nett geführt, mit leckerem Lunch - inklusive frisch gebrühtem Kaffee - und guten Tipps für den walk... Absolut empfehlenswert!
