Einfach genial
Das Team war super und die Einweisung sehr genau. Zu Anfang dachten wir noch, wofür brauchen wir eine 1 1/2 stündige Einweisung, wir sind doch schon oft Kayak gefahren, aber es war toll und wichtig. Wir haben alle super erklärt bekommen, auch Dinge, die uns so noch nicht bewusst waren z.Bsp. wie man am Besten einsteigt und in welcher Reihenfolge. Und wir haben nützliche Tipps zur Strecke bekommen und konnten all unsere Fragen loswerden. Wirklich eine gute Organisation und ein super nettes Team. Vielen Dank für dieses Erlebnis.

Ein toller Tag
Von Anfang bis Ende hat alles super geklappt. Detaillierte Einweisung in das Equipment und was es wo zu sehen gibt. Und am Ende wurden wir auch schon erwartet und unsere Kajaks wieder eingesammelt. Vielen Dank an Tom.

Tolles Unternehmen für eine Kajaktour
Zuerst einmal ist das sehr freundliche Personal zu erwähnen. Sei es bei schnellen Rückfragen per Mail oder auch vor Ort. Wir haben eine selbst organisierte Tour gebucht. Es gab eine sehr ausführlich Einweisung mit alles sicherheitsrelevanten Punkten; vom richtigen Einsteigen über das Verhalten bei einer Kenterung wurde in über einer Stunde alles erklärte. Auch auf dem Wasser (eine Person begleitete die Gruppe und machte auf erste Fehler aufmerksam) war ein Ansprechpartner zu Beginn vorhanden. Es wurde eine Empfehlung für die entsprechenden Bedingungen ausgesprochen (wie weit, Pausen usw.). Wir (Ehepaar um die 60 Jahre) machten eine Tour von Marahau bis zur Watering Cove, zur Seehundkollonie auf Adele Island und an der Fisherman Island vorbei wieder zurück an die Boat Ramp. Tipp: die Küstenlinie bei Marahau sieht bei Flut völlig anders aus, sodass wir noch eine kleine Kurve gefahren sind. Sich die Landmarkierungspunkte vorher einzuprägen und z.B. einen kleinen Kreis zu fahren, wäre sinnvoll gewesen. Von der Entfernung her war es für uns die maximale Distanz, welche in ca. 6 Stunden (mit Pausen) möglich waren. Wir hatten Kajakerfahrung, aber waren eher im wandern trainiert als im Oberkörper ;-) Die Tour wird auch im Marco Polo Reiseführer, zu Recht, empfohlen.
